I've never been a fan of Indian movies actually, i always thought that the dancing and singing-in-the-rain scenes are quite annoying...blah :p

But after slumdog millionaire and 3 idiots, i take my words back :)) So go watch 3 idiots, people! :D Very very recommended :) and guess what...i started to enjoy those i-thought-to-be-cheesy dancing scenes hahahahah :))

I'm not quite satisfied with the production but oh well, that's just minor details :D This is my first job doing children books illustration and i'm very happy!!! :D

the one-man-show-circus

Somehow i feel that working as a freelancer (especially in design/advertising field) is like performing a one-man-show circus.

Sometimes you are the juggler
You’re juggling one job to another, and you must have a very good time management unless you want one of your job falls down the floor.

Sometimes you are the tightrope walker
You can’t afford even the smallest mistake. Because no one is walking with you up there. No one will save your ass if you slip and fall. No groupheads, no creative directors...it’s just you and your skill.

And sometimes.... you have to be the magician
As far as i can remember, we freelancers never include performing magic in our job description. But some people just expect us to. I wonder where they get the idea :p

Sorry for another rant :p the next post will be a new artwork. It's a promise :) Hehehe

define happiness.

Happiness is when you are contented for who you are, and what you have, and when you are thankful for every single day you’re still given life to live.

Happiness is when little things that happen in your life feels like magic.

Happiness is when you can say “enough” to yourself.

I think that would sum up my personal definition of happiness :D
And i believe each person have a different definition of happiness. And nothing, or no one, can interfere it. Never be trapped in other’s definition of happiness :)
