I've been a fan of Ika Vantiani and Tatiana Romanova since the first time i found their blogs. Imagine how i felt when they agreed to do an art trade with me! XD

Finally met these two geniuses at Bukan Bazaar last month, and look what treasures i got from them! *euphoric dance*

The Walrus and the Dancer from Nova. Also read the beautifully written yet morbid poem below the picture. Hahah seems like she already knows me so well :p Thanks a ton Nova. I hope the walrus lose in the Russian Roulette. He's so fat his meat is gonna be delicious to eat, i bet :)

It's the end of the world in a Tuesday night.
It's a dry spell on heaven and hell with no food left to bite.
Only two left on the table, the walrus and the dancer.
With a gun to decide sooner than cancer. The answer is there in their Russian roulette.
Whose fate will replace the main course's fillet.


And last but not least, my best friend Ayoe Coemi, gave me this beautiful coaster from Vietnam. Who could not fall in love with this soldier with his two pet doves :p

I just couldn't stop smiling :) *emang dasar sakit jiwa aja sih sebenernya heheheh*

Yep yep i'm talking about the famous owner of La Maison de Popa :) I was thrilled when she agreed to do an art-trade with me, and spent about 3 months confusing over what would i draw for her XD

In the end, i didn't came up with anything special, but i was into patterns and colliding colours, and thus i started the que-sera-sera work for her (okay Pok, so now that you know the story behind it, i owe you an apology...hehehe)

I'm not trying to self-defense myself, but the scanner nor the camera didn't do the picture justice :( The colours are much better in person...oh well at least i think so *blushing* :p

Met her last weekend at Bukan Bazaar, along with the other talented people :D
She was one super-nice and....ordinary girl :)) hahahah i dunno, but i kinda expected someone wearing maybe a painter beret or extraordinary outfits, since her works are extraordinarily amazing! :D

Funny, when you are swarmed by tight deadlines, the urge to do the less-important things like doodling, re-arranging things on your desk, or posting on your blog suddenly becomes irresistible :p and i must remind myself once again, spending time on design blogs doesn't count as being productive! doh! X(

Anyway, sorry for the rant, i just want to share an artwork made for the talented Miss Vantiani :)
We met last Sunday, with several-other-also-talented-people, planning some secret underground project. hahahah. no. just kidding :p will let you guys know soon :)

I hope she likes it. Tried to make a collage but not as succesful as her beautiful handmade collage postcards :D Next time will be better Ka, promise :D



Next art trade is with the famous Tatiana Romanova. Very excited and nervous at the same time :D wish me luck! :D
